World Space Week 2024 was once again marked by massive scientific and educational events on space topics held on different continents and in different countries. Since 2000, it has been celebrated annually from October 4 to 10, although many events in its honor take place around the world outside of these dates.
Earlier this year, the PolyITAN-HP-30 nanosatellite developed and manufactured by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute scientists was launched into space.

On January 3, SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket launched more than 100 spacecraft into orbit. The PolyITAN-HP-30 of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was among them.

Our nanosatellite was successfully launched into space on the SpaceX Falcon-9 launch vehicle. The nanosatellite was created by scientists, teachers and students of National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
