With the experience of developing nano- and microsatellites for more than 10 years, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has already become a leader in this area in Ukraine.
The University carries out all developments independently and without budgetary funding.
In 2014, a group of young scientists and engineers from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute developed and launched the first Ukrainian nanosatellite PolyITAN-1.
So far, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute satellite is the only one from Ukraine in space.
Meanwhile, scientists continue to develop this area and create new nanosatellites and microsatellites.
