November 14, the Ukrainian-Polish seminar "Computer simulation of new materials. Status, Problems and Prospects" was held in the Hall of the Administrative Council of NTUU "KPI".

November 12, for the first time in human history created on Earth spacecraft landed on the comet nucleus. The fact that until recently belonged to the sphere of science fiction has become reality.

Before leaving to Germany for celebrations, the discoverer of the comet Churyumov Klim Ivanovich gave an interview to NTUU "KPI". The main theme - the mission of "Rosetta", its characteristics and importance of the comets study for the knowledge of the world.

European Space Agency plans to land 12th November the module “Fila” Space Station “Rosetta” on the nucleus Comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

October 30, the International Forum "The interaction of universities, government and business for the development of a sustainable society" started its work at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".

Range of activities of the Scientific and Technical Library of  G.I.Denisenko NTUU"KPI" is wide enough: information support educational and scientific work of the University, creation its own electronic resources, scientific and bibliographic, humanitarian, educational and cultural-education

October 21-22, the VI Scientific and Practical Seminar with international participation "The economic security of the state and the scientific - technological aspects of its provision" (Nedinski readings) was held in NTUU”KPI”.

From 23 to 25 September 2014 ХІI International Specialized Exhibition "Energy Industry - 2014" was held  at the International Exhibition Center in Kiev.

Council of Young Scientists started functioning in our university.

Events of the third day of the festival «Sikorsky Challenge 2014" were held at the Center for Culture and Arts  NTUU"KPI", at the exhibition hall of the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic",at the  hall of the Academic Council of the University and the university campus.
