"Kyiv Polytechnic" continues to publish the materials of the vice-rectors' reports on the work of their subordinate structures. Next in line is a shortened version of the report of Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs V. Kondratiuk "Organization and Support of the University's Life", which he presented at the meeting of the Academic Council of the University on January 15. The report presents the main results of the activities of the Civil Protection Department, Security, Economic Affairs, Property and Social Affairs Departments in 2023 and outlines the main tasks for 2024.

For a year now we have been learning to live next to a constant danger - an insidious virus. At the university, among other tasks, special attention is paid to the safety of students in dormitories in compliance with the requirements of relevant laws, regulations and recommendations.

Departments of economics, finances and social issues and security are responsible for keeping material and technical basis in a good condition, creating needed conditions for educational and scientific activity of university students and employees.

It is said among the people that everyone can act as an expert on teaching children, playing football and curing by yourself in our country. Perhaps, the same “credible” opinion can also be heard about development and maintenance of university's material and technical basis.

The main task of the department is the administrative and economic work of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is to maintain the material and technical base of the university in a proper operational condition to provide the necessary conditions for educational and scientific activities for students and university staff.
