As is already well known, on 11th of April 2016 the lounge area “KPIrelax” was officially opened in campus building №18.
This project was created by the team "KPIrelax" supported by well-known sponsors "Lays" and "Pepsi". So to say, made by students for the students.
NTUU “KPI” team put in a strong performance in the final stage of Ukraine-wide Olympiad of Mathematics among students of technical higher educational establishments that took place from 17th to 20th of May, 2016 in terms of Sumskyi national university.
On May 18–20, Applied Mathematics Department hosted T. A. Taran International Scientific Conference “Intelligent Analysis of Information’2016.”
On May, 20th a meeting on Supervisory Board creation for ‘Sikorskyi’s national center’ Charity Fund took place in NTUU ‘KPI’. Viktor Yushchenko, the third Ukrainian president, participated in it.
The chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Lubomyr Sabadosh visited the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" on May 20.
The opening ceremony of the XVII International Conference n. a. Academician Mykhaylo Kravchuk was held on May 19 in the Hall of the Academic Council of NTUU "KPI".
On May, 19th 2016 the second stage of the Nationwide student Olympiad from Theoretical Basics of Electrotechnics took place in NTUU ‘KPI’.
"In a few months I’ll have a diploma defense, graduate ... and I miss my Polytechnic" - Vadym Mazur began his story in this way. He is the magistrand of the Department of laser technology, physical and engineering technologies, rectorial scholar in this semester.
Eugene passed his exams to graduate school “excellently”. He was enrolled to the Department of Mathematics of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute on the order of the rector. And Professor Smohorzhevskyy was pleased that everything went smoothly.
The group of young scientists was awarded prizes from NAS of Ukraine for achievements in the development of important scientific problems. Among prizemen, Sergiy Osypchuk, who is a representative of the Kyiv Polytechnic, Ph.D.
