At 25 and 26 of November 2016 at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was held the first nationwide forum of German teachers' professional fields German - German in schools and universities in Ukraine today. "Participating in the forum were 450 linguists from all over Ukraine and from abroad, namely the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus.
"Foreign language today is an important factor of modern quality education specialist, a competitive labor market, highly skilled, successful - wrote in the foreword to the Forum rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" NAS of Ukraine Mikhail Zgurovsky. - We have to focus on the development of new methods of teaching foreign languages university students, focused on solving the problem of quality of foreign language teaching professional direction in high school. It has strengthened focus on European practice quality assurance of higher technical education . Therefore, educational curricula should be primarily modern and competitive.
I am confident that the forum will be the catalyst of new ideas, which undoubtedly will be implemented in future projects aimed at providing high quality training based on the triangle "education-science-innovation."
Welcome Forum plenary session started the first rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute NAS of Ukraine Yuriy Yakimenko. Welcoming remarks were also made by Chief Specialist of Secondary and Preschool Education, Ministry of Education and Science Oksana Kovalenko, co-equator department of culture, education and minority German Embassy in Ukraine Hattendorff Christian, president of the Association of Ukrainian Germanic Alla Paslavskyi. Professor of German as a foreign language Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Jörg Matthias Rohe in his speech at the plenary session said that German building bridges between countries and people, so this forum is the beginning of a new tradition that will create a platform for joint activities of teachers of German worldwide.
The first day of the event ended with podium discussion featuring Hans-Werner Huneke, Rector of the Pedagogical University in the city. The Forum held 36 workshops and seminars whose purpose - to provide quality teaching German as a foreign language, highlight the problems of professional training and Germanic describe solutions of possibilities discuss the improvement of existing and new qualifications that meet the expectations of those who studying German language and requirements of the labor market.
