Negotiations with the University of Ljubljana have started at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Every year on the third Thursday of May we celebrate Vyshyvanka Day. This year it falls on the 19th. The holiday is aimed to preserve Ukrainian traditions and promote them within the general public.

Everyone who wanted to learned to work with plaster. They made 30 figures, which artist Katya will paint with children then.

"I believe that art is appropriate during the war, so I continue to paint while the Armed Forces of Ukraine bravely defend our country," says a first-year student of Faculty of Physics and Mathematics Kateryna Rachek.

The annual Campus Chess tournament was held at the Student Consolidation Center with the support of the students' trade union and DEW on May 17. 26 participants decided to try their hand.

On May 17, 2022, at a meeting of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, a decision was made to accredit two educational and scientific programs of doctors of philosophy for five years: "History" in specialty 032, and "Publishing and Printing" in specialty 186.

The Humanitarian Headquarters of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was established on the basis of the Department of Educational Work on February 25, 2022 - the second day of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

On May 15 the world celebrates the International Day of Families. The UN General Assembly declared 1994 the International Year of Families, and in 1993 passed a resolution establishing the holiday.

The International Physicists' Tournament was held in Colombia. A team of girls, including a student of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Yana Kalisetska, replaced the team of boys who could not take part in the competition because of the war.
