This principle is followed in the work and life of Professor of Information and Communication Technologies and Systems Alina Moshinskaya, winner of the university competition "Young Teacher-Researcher 2020".

"The desire to become a teacher at Kyiv Polytechnic University,- says Alina Valentinovna,- begun when I was a child. My grandfather, Stepan Yakovych Sviren, worked for over thirty years (1961-1996) as an associate professor of the department at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Faculty of Power Engineering (now the FEA Department of Power Plants) and talked a lot about his work. I was instilled with self-discipline in my studies at the Physics and Mathematics Department at the Polytechnic Lyceum. So when I became a student at the Institute of Telecommunication Systems, I felt very comfortable, I was interested and I enjoyed studying. "

The student began her scientific activity at the second year under the guidance of Dr., Prof. L.O. Uryvskyi. She was lucky, because in the person of Leonid Olexandrovych the talent of a scientist-inventor and organizer was harmoniously combined with a wide range of scientific interests. Without dwelling on his own achievements, he offers young people new directions of research, encouraging and admiring his example. "Thanks to the supervisor, I became a liaison," says Alina Valentynivna. - I didn't know then that our creative research would give rise to a scientific school of applied information theory for telecommunications, which now has more than ten scientists." To date, they are related to the study of wireless information transfer technologies for the Internet of Things.
The first impression, the case, the result are always memorable. For the young teacher A. Moshynska such was the creation and implementation of a new discipline "Applied Information Theory for Telecommunications", which was born after the defence of his dissertation in 2009. "Among the other disciplines I teach, it inspires me the most," she admits.

The creative work of the young scientist includes more than 50 scientific works, including articles in publications included in the international scientometric database Scopus, articles in professional journals of Ukraine, abstracts and conference proceedings of various levels, utility model patent, implementation of research. In 2020, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences on "Strategies for information transfer in multiservice telecommunications systems.”
"I consider one of the fascinating occupations related to my professional activity to be the editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal" Information and Telecommunication Sciences ", which is published at our university," the scientist adds. - In 2010, the Vice-Rector for Research, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Myhailo Yukhymovych Ilchenko invited me to join the editorial team. For me, being a participant in the creation and development of a scientific publication is an invaluable experience. For eleven years, our team has been working non-stop, working on every detail. And I am proud that our magazine is part of the professional publications of category "B" and publishes materials of scientists from around the world. "

In her free time, Alina Valentynivna is interested in psychology and communication techniques that promote personal development and help in teaching. Based on her own experience and the practice of colleagues, she advises future young scientists not to be afraid of not knowing something, but to be afraid of not wanting to learn something new. "Cognition is movement, and movement is life," she said.
