The annual hackathon CSC 55 - Computer Science and Cybernetics - is held by the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the NGO Hackathon Expert Group with the support of GlobalLogic, Revenue Grid, MiddleWare Europe.

The problem of demining the territories of Ukraine during the hostilities of 2022-2024 has sharply escalated. Currently, about 30% of Ukrainian territory is mined with explosives, and only 1% has been cleared.

On May 14, 2024, a regular meeting of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) was held. According to its results, it was decided to accredit 6 educational programs (EP) of our university under the full procedure for a period of 5 years.

An exhibition of ceramics in the traditional Japanese styles of Nunobiki and Raku "The World in Ceramics" was opened at the Ukrainian-Japanese Center of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.  It is worth noting that similar exhibitions have already been held there.

Another anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, the largest man-made disaster of the twentieth century, is approaching. In addition to Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia, most European countries have experienced its consequences to varying degrees.
