Representatives of the Ukrainian Energy Initiative of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine, led by its Head, Nataliia Khmelovska, visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
📋 The meeting focused on the following areas:
🔹 Joint promotion of the “Energy Professional” educational course. Launched with the support of the UK Government 🇬🇧, this online course aims to help young people choose their future careers and provide those considering a career change with knowledge of the energy sector. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute could become an educational partner for course participants wishing to continue their studies in energy-related fields at the bachelor’s or master’s level.
🔹 Expert participation in industry events. The university’s researchers and lecturers will have the opportunity to contribute to Ukrainian Energy Initiative projects as speakers and experts.
🔹 Information partnership. Both parties are interested in sharing university initiatives, projects, and important news through their own and partner communication channels.
ℹ️ The discussion also covered sustainable development, changes in energy legislation and their impact on the sector, current energy challenges, and the revival of educational initiatives, including lecture series involving experts from energy companies.
