Igor Sikorsky KPI became the first higher education institution in Ukraine to cooperate with the IAEA! Practical agreements with the IAEA will allow for the training of specialists at an even higher level and strengthen Ukraine's human resources in the field of nuclear safety and technology.

Cooperation with the IAEA means:

📌 exchange of experience and dissemination of best international practices in nuclear and physical security, radioactive waste management, decommissioning of nuclear facilities, and improving the safety of such processes;
📌 creation of conditions for professional development;
📌 implementation of joint educational and research initiatives for students and university staff;
📌 development of educational programs and training courses, etc.

Cooperation between Igor Sikorsky KPI and the IAEA in this format opens up new opportunities for the integration of Ukrainian science and education in the field of nuclear safety.

The signing took place during the 69th session of the IAEA General Conference with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine / MFA of Ukraine, in particular Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko, and in the presence of Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna Yuriy Vitrenko.
