Dave Morgan, founder and CEO of the American company Simulmedia, visited Kyiv Polytechnic University. He met with scholarship recipients: master's and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics (FPM) who are studying for a degree in Applied Mathematics (F1).

Anton Tsybulnyk, Kirill Danilenko, and Vladislav Berezhny became the first Simulmedia scholarship recipients for young researchers. We sincerely thank Simulmedia for their trust in the young talents of our university!

📌 This scholarship program is unique: scholarship recipients will receive $500 per month throughout the calendar year for research work that corresponds to the priorities of Simulmedia and the Department of Applied Mathematics:

• application of Bayesian optimization to prompt engineering;
• development of a novel method of coordinated sections for solving multiphysics problems (author — Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics Igor Orinyak);
• work on multimodal machine learning.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the Department of Applied Mathematics, Danylo Tavrov, assistant professor and data scientist at Simulmedia, Maksym Shchegoliev, and Igor Orinyak.
