A third of Ukraine's territory is still mined, and our energy system has lost more than half of its electricity output.
The Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is actively working on solving these issues. The first educational program in Ukraine on humanitarian demining has been introduced here, as we have an urgent need for demining specialists. The IEE is also working on the creation of physical protection systems for critical infrastructure facilities that will protect Ukrainian power plants from hits from drone and missile debris. And this is not all the current projects of the Institute.
