On April 19, 2023, a new acceleration program "Building Back Better: transforming the post-war entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ukraine" was launched to help Ukraine rebuild its entrepreneurial ecosystem, which will be a crucial element in the country's post-war recovery.
This joint accelerator program between the University of Sheffield and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will provide Ukrainian startups with access to the mentorship, training and funding they need to succeed. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is involved in the project with the Sikorsky Challenge startup school, which this year began its 10th anniversary season.
On May 16, the first online meeting of the "Building Back Better" project participants took place, where the program participants got acquainted, the main events planned for the project and the organization of the educational process were announced.
The project program is intense and very short - from May to August 2023. It includes training in the basics of innovative business from Sheffield University trainers and successful British entrepreneurs (6 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays). After each lesson (on Wednesdays and Fridays), experts and coaches of the Sikorsky Challenge startup school will analyze and explain to participants those points of the lectures that were not entirely clear, share insights, analyze differences in the innovative approaches of our countries, give examples, etc.
