Kyiv polytechnic carries out international project to boost resilience of local communities

The National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in partnership with the Poznan University of Technology (Poland) is implementing a large-scale international project entitled "Community Empowerment: Crisis-Ready Solutions". Funded by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme (NATO SPS G6119), the project is intended to strengthen the resilience to crisis challenges of local communities in Ukraine and Poland.

Partnership with Institut Polytechnique de Paris

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has started a scientific partnership with Institut Polytechnique de Paris, which unites the 5 best French engineering schools (École Polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Telecom Paris and Telecom SudParis).

International seminars on interdisciplinary and sustainable development

In July 2024, the implementation of a joint international European project was completed, within the framework of which 8 seminars ‘Scientists Meet Scientists. Wednesday Coffee Talks’ (Seminar Series titled ’Scientists Meet Scientists. Wednesday Coffee Talks"), dedicated mainly to the problems of multidisciplinarity of socio-economic, environmental and climatic sections and digitalisation of society.

KPI became a full member of the European alliance ATHENA

KPI became the first Ukrainian university in the ATHENA alliance.

The cooperation began in November 2022, when Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute joined ATHENA as an associate partner, unconditionally sharing and supporting its values, mission and goals.
