During the war, many things change: priorities, relevance of specialties and, in particular, the enrollment requirements. School graduates faced the urgent problem of choosing an educational institution.
Since the beginning of the great war, legends have been made about the exploits of our volunteers: they get rare equipment and medicines "out of nowhere", go to the most remote corners of the country under fire to provide necessities, collect incredible sums of money in a matter of hours.

On April 14, 2022, the working committee on Collective Agreement of National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” implementation control met.
The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute trade union committee purchased and handed over 24 walkie-talkies to the unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where a university employee serves.
They also handed over 6 fleece jackets to the Kyiv Territory Defense.
