After graduating from school, Maksym chose a military profession: like his father and grandfather, he graduated from the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and began his service in military intelligence units.
Yuriy studied at the Faculty of Sociology and Law of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute extramurally. He took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity.
Roman graduated from Faculty of Heat and Power Engineering of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1995. He worked in the banking sector, working his way up from an ordinary IT specialist to the deputy director of the Kyiv directorate of one of the largest banks in Ukraine.
Pavlo graduated from the Faculty of Radio Engineering of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1995. He worked as a software engineer in Kyiv.
He took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity. In December 2013, he was in Maidan on numerous occasions.
Serhiy lived in Kyiv in recent years. He worked at the GlobalLogic company and at the same time studied at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
On this day, August 7, 1908, Vitaliy Nykyforovych Hrydnev was born. He was a specialist in the field of physical metallurgy, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, rector of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute from 1952 to 1955.
At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a memorial plaque was put up in honor of Andriy Yeremenko, a graduate and researcher of the university.
July 28 is the Day of Ukrainian Statehood. The Ukrainian flag was solemnly hoisted in Ploshcha Znan’ (Square of Knowledge) at National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
In addition to working at the Student Consolidation Centre, Yevheniya Ivanivna was the head of the vocal studio “Nathnennia” (“Inspiration”).
A memorial plaque to the student of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Vadym Zherebylo was put up on the building of Y. O. Paton Educational and Research Institute of Materials Science and Welding.
