Honoring the memory

Every year on the fourth Saturday of November, we commemorate all those who died from artificial famines in Ukraine, the mass deaths from famine in Ukraine were in 1932-1933.

Today, November 27, 2021, Borys Paton would have turned 103 years old. Let us remember how rich and interesting was the life of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist, genius of electric welding, and Kyiv Polytechnic Institute graduate Borys Paton.

A monument to the prominent Ukrainian scientist and engineer Borys Paton was unveiled on November 26, 2021.

Every year, when nature freezes in the autumn chill and prepares for a long sleep, our anxious hearts are filled with painful memories of the horrible November of 2004 and 2013. At that time, our answer was a resounding "no" to untruth, injustice, humiliation, and lawlessness.

Today we honor the memory of an outstanding Ukrainian aircraft designer and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute graduate Konstantin Alekseevich Kalinin.

A distinguished fashion manager and the co-owner of Maas Markets Ltd, Maurizio Askero, visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. He came to discuss installing a memorial plaque to the famous physicist George De Metz.

Today we honour one of the most outstanding graduates of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. On this day in 1908, Arkhip Lyulka was born. General designer of aircraft engines.

On February 20, Ukraine commemorated the official Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.

On November 21, Ukrainians remember and honor those who fought for Ukraine's right to independence and democracy in two revolutions, and defended our freedom and sovereignty in the war zone.
