Vyshyvanka Is the Code of Ukrainian Nation

Every year on the third Thursday of May we celebrate Vyshyvanka Day. This year it falls on the 19th. The holiday is aimed to preserve Ukrainian traditions and promote them within the general public.

May 15, the International Day of Families

On May 15 the world celebrates the International Day of Families. The UN General Assembly declared 1994 the International Year of Families, and in 1993 passed a resolution establishing the holiday.
