Ukrainians are in love with beautiful apparently genetically. A mysterious both attracts and terrifies any person. So visit the picturesque alpine water body, covered with legends and traditions - Lake Violent, dream of every traveler. This mysterious depression is located at the height 1750 m on the hillside Turkul (Montenegrin ridge).
The sculpture - seven-meter stack of books topped with the academic cap (bonet) - was opened in the KPI.
On November 15, 2012 leaders of NTUU "KPI" and Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic” held a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the United States of America in Ukraine Mr. Eric A. Johnson, Counselor for Public Affairs, and Ms. Vera Ternovska, an Academic Affairs Specialist.
On November 13, 2012 the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" received Rector of the International University College Mr. Todor Radyev (Dobrich ,Republic of Bulgaria), and head of the official office of the International University College in Ukraine Mrs. Natalia Kornilova.
Kiev Polytechnic Institute consists of subsections, without which it is impossible to imagine Technical University engineering and instrumentation, chemical and energy technologies of Radio Engineering and Electronics and more.
A club "Academy of youth" has been created in NTUU “KPI”.

On October 30, 2012 Sir Roger Penrose, prominent English scientist, an inventor of twistor theory, who is actively working in various fields of mathematics, physics, general relativity and quantum theory visited NTUU "KPI".
On October 22 -25 NTUU “KPI” had being visited by Prof. Fluminense Federal University Mr. Marcio Zamboti Fortes.
