On October 16, 2012 the president of the University of Kyoto (Japan), Professor Hiroshi Matsumoto with the assistance of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Ukraine Y.E.Mr. Toichi Sakata delivered а lecturer at NTUU”KPI”. On September 15, 2012 on occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Japan Mr. Sen Genshitsu, the grand tea master of the “Urasenke” tea ceremony school, conducted a demonstration of traditional ceremony of preparation and serving tea at the Culture and Arts Center of NTUU "KPI".

Center of X-ray analysis NTUU "KPI" – "RIGAKU" is opened

On September 7, 2012, Educational Scientific Center of x-ray analysis NTUU "KPI" – "RIGAKU" was opened in NTUU "KPI". Today it is the most advanced center of x-ray diffraction in Ukraine. It is equipped with x-ray diffractometer "Ultima IV" produced in Japanese corporation "RIGAKU."
