On April, 17, Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation was signed between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences(Hamm, Germany).

In November 2018, Inna Yuriyivna Bilous, Assistant of the Department of Heat Engineering and Energy Saving of the IEE, was awarded a scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.
The commission for the professional certification was formed on the basis of IEE of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in accordance with the Decree of the Rector No. 7/115 dated 05.10.18 on the basis of the Center for the training of energy managers.
