The Educational and Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Institute of MMI) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has successfully completed participation in the project ‘Renovation of Education in the field of aircraft construction’ (uCAREER) and showed high results in creating innovative, employer-oriented, certified educational programmes for the training of creative and competent graduate engineers to meet the requirements of the labour market.

A trip to the Warsaw University of Technology

For me, this academic mobility was unexpected, because I applied for the programme through a call for applications, and it happened just a week before the event. However, this spontaneous decision brought me a very useful experience.

Lighting the torch of knowledge

But only motivated and conscientious students who strive for new and great things, act boldly and decisively, achieve results. And with it comes recognition. In particular, the best of the best students are awarded state scholarships.

Anastasiia Sydorenko. The sprouts of the future are growing stronger

The Seeds for the Future international educational programme organised by Huawei brought together 150 students from 23 countries in Rome this year. The main topics of the event were: innovation, digitalisation, sustainable development and entrepreneurship. Among the participants were five talented students from five leading Ukrainian universities. Anastasiia Sydorenko, a fourth-year student of the RTF, represented Kyiv Polytechnic.

Students of FBMI and FBT adequately represented Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the international BioHackathon

At the end of May, the international hackathons Smart City Challenge and BioHackathon were held in Warsaw. They were organized by the Student Government of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Herbion Biotechnology Research Group of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Center for International Cooperation, and the student research groups Ventures and Startups and Innovation of the Warsaw School of Economics.
