Dear staff and students of NTUU "KPI"! We invite you to take part in the indefinite event to collect waste paper, followed by the purchase of energy efficient equipment for the classrooms of our university.

Currently, we offer to upgrade the lighting system of one of the most important halls of the university - The Great Physical Hall.

In the hall, there are about 150 incandescent light bulbs, which, as everyone knows, are an inefficient source of light. Besides, a large room height and location of the lights on the ceiling limit the light output reached on the work surface.

A joint conference "Siemens Ukraine" and the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation was held in NTUU”KPI” at January 10.

Today almost all the leading countries of the world are developing a fundamentally new ideology of construction and operation of the energy sector with the aim of providing safe, reliable, economically viable and environmentally acceptable energy supplies for consumers.

On July 28, 2009 the reception of delegacy from Science and Technology Center in Ukraine (STCU) took place at NTUU “KPI”. Executive Director (USA) A. Hood, Deputy Executive Director (USA) V. Korsun, Chief Executive Officer (Europe) D. Kleave, First Deputy Executive Director I.

Electric heat-retaining system “Elektropik”, which provides transition to an alternative type of heating, was put into operation at school No. 12 of Lutsk at the beginning of October.

The humanity are facing today three main particularly acute interrelated problems - provision of food, energy and environmental security.

The director of scientific and technological center tells about new technology of use of the highly effective unified tubular technology of burning of gas "Ecotechnology and technology of energy saving", the vice rector for scientific and pedagogical work by G. B. Varlamov.

The Institute for Energy Saving and Energy Management already know how to make human habitation in the near future, comfortable, and environmentally safe.  The director of the Institute A. Prakhovnik tells about specifics of the smart eco house.

Today, it seems everybody understands the importance of preserving the environment, but at the beginning of the third millennium the relationship between man and nature are partly viewed as a confrontation between two hostile worlds - "the natural world" and "the world of man."
