In frames of the cooperation Polytechnic Lyceum NTUU "KPI" with the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management NTUU "KPI" on the implementation of the project DTEK "Energy Efficient Schools" February 17, 2015 for students of the grades 9-11 participating in the project, Ph.D., Assistant professor of electrical supply IESEM A.M. Kovalchuk held the classes on the topic "Basics of thermography: temperature, heat, thermal physics."
This is the second event, which is supported by the IESEM. Recall that the Institute actively joined the opening of the project, which took place on December 18, 2014 Then for students there have been conducted tours laboratories, where they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern technology to save electricity, heat and water.
The interest of high school students was revived by the practical lessons on the thermal imager. Conducted an heat audit in the classroom, which showed that the Lyceum administration implemented all available measures to save energy: new windows on metal and plastic, put additional doors in the corridor, reduced the number of drafts and as a result, saves energy. Other jobs require capital expenditures.
The meeting was held in a very warm atmosphere. The temperature was + 28o C. This is a very warm, considering that the classes were held on I floor building 7 NTUU "KPI". On the street at the time was -8o S.
