According to international studies, the number of people with diabetes on the globe will soon reach 500 million. In Ukraine, this figure has exceeded one million people.

Six projects submitted by young scientists of the Igor Sikorsky KPI received the state funding according to the results of the competition, conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in 2017.

The aim of the project “ Artificial knee joint prosthesis with adaptive properties” is to fill the urgent need  - rehabilitation of people with affected limbs. Particularly, the improvement and development of a fundamentally new adaptive domestic knee joint prosthesis is the main goal.
