Since the first days of russian aggression, the Students Trade Union Committee of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has joined the support of the defense forces of Kyiv and ensured the life of the university during the war.
Many civilians are suffering due to the escalation of russian missile terror. The Blood Center appealed to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a request to donate blood urgently.
An event dedicated to humanitarian support for museums of Ukraine took place in the Metropolitan’s Residence of the National Conservation Area “St. Sophia of Kyiv”. More than thirty museum workers took part in it.
Kyiv Polytechnicians met on the football field to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Six teams competed for the championship cup. The team of the Department of Property and Social Affairs won.
Proceeds from the sale of souvenirs with the symbols of National Technical University of Ukraine will be used to purchase the ammunition for the unit in which students of IPT serve.
Four teams took part in the competition: students of the university, students - territorial defense volunteers, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute veterans and police. With the war, the varsity team did not play in full, and the territorial defenders made their debut in the tournament.
Student volunteers support the initiative to save animals from liberated towns and villages of Kyiv region where there were fights. The university has set up a shelter for dogs and cats. Now paws are fed and treated. Student volunteers are on duty near animals day and night.
The National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” donated 1 million hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds were transferred to a special account with the National Bank of Ukraine.
The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Donor Day was held together with the help of the University departments and students. 110 students, cadets, teachers, and officers donated blood for the Kyiv City Blood Center, O.O.
