Student volunteers support the initiative to save animals from liberated towns and villages of Kyiv region where there were fights. The university has set up a shelter for dogs and cats. Now paws are fed and treated. Student volunteers are on duty near animals day and night.
As volunteers say, the most difficult is the psychological rehabilitation of animals. After all, most of them lost their owners, were injured, and were starving for a long time.
The shelter organizer, Sofya Danylova, spends her own money on building crates, food and veterinary care.
