The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has summarized the results of the second competitive selection of research projects funded by the EU under the Horizon 2020 program. This competition is an important step for the development of Ukrainian science and its integration into the European research area.
It involved 142 projects, 106 of which were admitted to further consideration. According to the results of the examination, 33 participants became winners.
Congratulations to the winners from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute:
- Project “Metal oxide nanostructures for highly sensitive sensors of toxic gases”. Supervisor: Georgiy Vasiliev, KTEV HTF
- Project “Development of a new technology for the production of bio-based coatings using ionic liquids”. Supervisor: Oleksii Myroniuk, KTHM KhTP
The selection process was thorough and transparent. Applications were submitted through the National Electronic Research and Information System “URIS”. The examination was conducted in four areas in accordance with the Regulations approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
