Over 650 fundamental and applied research projects carried out by higher education institutions and scientific institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine were submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science competition. After the completion of expert reviews and evaluations in the sections, a list of over 130 winning projects was approved, which passed the competitive selection and will begin receiving funding this year from the State Budget of Ukraine. Among them are eight projects that will be implemented at Igor Sikorsky KPI over the next three years.

Today in frontline Kharkiv, events were held on the occasion of the World Science Day for Peace and Development, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. Our Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was also represented.

On 12 September, the Second meeting of the Joint EU-Ukraine Committee of the Horizon Europe and Euratom programmes took place in the innovative shelter ‘CLUST Space’ of the KPI Scientific and Technical Library. 

Representatives of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute have once again joined the cohort of the best young scientists in the country. They adequately represented the university in the competition of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Young Scientist of the Year 2023”. Three of them won in different nominations.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has summarized the results of the second competitive selection of research projects funded by the EU under the Horizon 2020 program.

According to the order of the Minister of Education and Science, Anatolii Melnychenko, the new rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, was appointed on July 19, 2024.

In order to encourage and support graduate students who have distinguished themselves in their academic and research work, the Ministry of Education and Science has introduced academic scholarships named after M.S.Hrushevsky.

By now the traditional meeting was devoted to many pressing issues, but mostly the conditions of the national multimedia test for entrants and applicants for master's degree were discussed.
