In the first days of October, the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU) Mikhaylo Zgurovsky visited two Polish technical universities - Poznań Polytechnic and Opole Polytechnic. These visits were organized on the invitation of the rectors of these universities – professor Tomasz Łodygowski and professor Marek Tukiendorf.
On October 4, Mikhaylo Zgurovsky took part in the solemn ceremony of the beginning of the new academic year 2017-2018 (we will remind that it starts in October in Poland) in Poznan Polytechnic, inspected the laboratories of the faculty of Chemical Technology, Mechanical Engineering faculty, the Faculty of Machines and Transportation of this university and met with the staff. The visit ended with an agreement on cooperation between the two universities within the framework of the EU program "Erasmus +" and a double diploma in biomedical engineering. The agreement was signed by Mikhaylo Zgurovsky and Tomasz Łodygowski. Note that this is the second agreement on a double diploma between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Poznan Polytechnic University. Recall the first one, the program of double diploma on the specialty "Machine building", that was signed at the session of the teaching staff of our university on August 29 this year.
On October 5, Mikhaylo Zgurovsky was the guest of the solemn ceremony of the inauguration of the academic year 2017-2018 at the Technical University of Opole. He also met the staff and the students of this university and conducted the negotiations with its administration. The result of this visit was an agreement on cooperation of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Technical University of Opole under the EU program "Erasmus +", signed by Mikhaylo Zgurovsky and Marek Tukiendorf.
