Kyiv Polytechnic carries out international project to boost resilience of local communities

The National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in partnership with the Poznan University of Technology (Poland) has launched a large-scale international project entitled "Community Empowerment: Crisis-Ready Solutions". Funded by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme (NATO SPS G6119), the project is intended to strengthen the resilience to crisis challenges of local communities in Ukraine and Poland.

On 19 September 2024, a commemorative plaque with the inscription in Ukrainian and Polish ‘Grapes planted in 2022 on the centenary of the KPI Pupils’ Section in Poland’ was unveiled on the wall near the building No. 6, which was made in Poland and brought to Kyiv on the initiative of the long-time chairman of the Section, Doctor Emeritus of KPI Janusz Fuksa.

“Children's Poland” celebrates its anniversary

Ten years have passed since the launch of the international project of organizing children's recreation for KPI employees in Poland - “Children's Poland”, as it is called by the employees of our university. In 2014, our children first became participants in a recreational and educational program organized by the Warsaw University of Technology.

Students of FBMI and FBT adequately represented Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the international BioHackathon

At the end of May, the international hackathons Smart City Challenge and BioHackathon were held in Warsaw. They were organized by the Student Government of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Herbion Biotechnology Research Group of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Center for International Cooperation, and the student research groups Ventures and Startups and Innovation of the Warsaw School of Economics.
