On November 18–19, 2025, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Resilient Communities – Stable Future: Ukrainian-Polish Experience in Crisis Response.” It was dedicated to contemporary challenges facing the functioning of socio-economic systems, ensuring the sustainable development of local communities, and implementing effective models for responding to crisis situations.

The National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in partnership with the Poznan University of Technology (Poland) is implementing a large-scale international project entitled "Community Empowerment: Crisis-Ready Solutions". Funded by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme (NATO SPS G6119), the project is intended to strengthen the resilience to crisis challenges of local communities in Ukraine and Poland.

The final bootcamp within the international project RESCUU aims to unite students for the revival of Ukraine. The organizers of the event include Uppsala University, Poznan University of Technology, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Gaps in the anti-crisis management of territorial communities and the lack of awareness of the population about actions in crisis and emergency situations are the conclusions of teams of scientists from the FMM and the Faculty of Management Engineering of the Poznan University of Technology.

Despite the air raids, on April 25, 2024, the Faculty of Management and Marketing hosted the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Business, Innovation, Management: Problems and Prospects”, organized by the Department of Business Management.

Olga Vakhrina worked for many years at the Department of International Cooperation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The seminar "Crisis Management in the Context of Global Socio-Economic Transformations", jointly organized by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Poznan University of Technology (PUT), took place on December 5, 2023.
