The first in the new educational year meeting of Academic Council "KPI" occurred 7 September 2015 chaired by Rector Mikhail Zakharovich Zgurovsky. Began it with greeting anniversary people: the HoD (head of department) of RES Ph.D., professor V.I.Pravdy, the sub dean of FEL Ph.D., professor O.V.Borysova, the Hod of FEL, Doctor of science, professor L.D.Pysarenko, the HoD of ECF technology of ceramics and glass associate member of NAN Ukraine, Doctor of Sc., Professor B.Y.Kornilovycha, acting HoD of Sound technics and registration information Ph.D., professor H.H.Vlasyuk and the HoD of devices and systems nondestructive control Ph.D., associate professor A.H.Protasova.
The innovation was invited to participate in the work of Academic council on permanent basis directors of "KPI" lyceums: director of the Polytechnic Lyceum Y.V.Kyrychkova, director of Technical lyceum F.M.Krasyuka and director of the Lyceum "Intellect" S.V.Romanovskoho.
Then the rector gave certificates to Professor O.M.Belasu (ISIS) O.V.Vynoslavskiy (FSL) A.Ya.Karvatskomu (FCE) V.P.Maslovu (IMF) O.V.Uzunovu (MMI) and K.V.Myhalenkovu (ECF).
After that was awarded Honorary Diploma the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, prof., HoD of Heat-and-power Engineering H.B.Varlamova for significant contribution to ensuring a stable operation of the fuel and energy complex in Ukraine, considerable labor achievements, high professionalism and on the occasion of Independence Day in Ukraine.
The first issue on the agenda was information on admission of students to the university in 2015. Reported the first pro-vice-rector Y.I.Yakymenko. He described the outcome of acceptance of students to "KPI" in 2015 and analyzed the dynamics of enrolment for the last 5 years.
The next question was about measures for the transition to three-stage training in "KPI". Reported Y.I.Yakymenko. He paid attention to the stages and group of criteria of the internal licensing.
According to information of director MMI MI.Bobyrya was recommended candidates for awarding the title of "Honorary Doctor KPI": the founder and president of the company "Progresteh" prof. V.A.Kulchytskoho and vice-president of International Relations company "Boeing" prof. S.V.Kravchenka.
Academic Council also heard an appeal of the head of Academic Council of the National Aviation University Y.V.Kozachka and the head of the Student Council of NAU T.Hryhor'yevoyi and after discussion adopted the decision. (Text with solutions we publish below. - Ed.)
