An implementation agency of European Union regarding education, audio and visual means as well as culture matters announced the results of the first 2015 competition of Erasmus+ program in the direction of KA2 “Development of higher education”(https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/sites/eacea-site/files/eplus-cbhe-selection-…).
Erasmus+ program is a program of EU for the period of 2014-2020 supporting projects, partnerships, initiatives and mobility in education field, youth and sport as well. Thanks to this program, higher education establishments of Ukraine are able to establish partnerships with higher education establishments of member countries of EU and other countries encourage international exchange between students and teachers, upgrade scientific programs.
140 project proposals from 515 have already been approved with further financial backing in 2016-2018. 10 projects will be putting into practice through Ukrainian organization.
NTUU “KPI” submitted 15 applications, 3 from which have been endorsed. Thus, National technical university “Kyiv polytechnic institute” will take part in 3 out of ten projects, implemented by Ukrainian specialists. This is the best result among Ukrainian higher educational establishments.
Thus, Kyiv polytechnics are going to take part in the following projects:
- «The development of networking infrastructure for youth innovation entrepreneurship support on fablab platforms» (561536-EPP-1-2015-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP-Development of a network infrastructure for youth innovation entrepreneurship support on fablab platforms)
(basic unit– IPSA);
- «The development of graduated education related to water purification» (561755-EPP-1-2015-1-NO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP-Harmonising water related graduate education) (basic unit– HTF);
- «Establishing of modern Master-level studies in Information Systems» (561592-EPP-1-2015-1-FR-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP-Establishing Modern Master-level Studies in Information Systems)
(basic unit– FIOT).
