Developers, scientists, businesses, and the government have joined forces to find innovative solutions in the field of defense and security technologies and to support MilTech projects.

One of the most important events that took place at Igor Sikorsky KPI at the end of last month was the International Forum “Innovations in Medical Engineering.” It was held over two days, May 20 and 21, and brought together representatives of government agencies, Ukrainian and international participants in the Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine Innovation Ecosystem, international medical engineering specialists and experts, and representatives of foundations and companies. And, of course, scientists and developers of startup projects, because the forum participants not only discussed problems and identified pain points in the rapid implementation of innovative developments in medical engineering into production and further to patients, but also identified and highlighted the most promising startup projects on this topic at the competition. 

National technical university of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute” provides competition to fill the vacancy. Inspired by the conditions of the final stage of the Second Open Engineering Competition “Build Your MRIYA” for students of grades 8-11, which took place at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute during 29-29 of October, 2015. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on March 29 and 30, 2025, students from 24 Ukrainian cities - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Halych, Kamen-Kashyrskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Hlukhiv, Bohodukhiv, Kobeliak, Mykolaiv, Bucha, Irpin, Sumy, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chuhuiv, etc. will certainly remember the hours spent on creating wings, fuselages, stabilizers, keel, launcher (catapult) and testing the models in flight on the university's football field. 

On February 25-28, 2025, the second round (final) of Eco-Techno Ukraine 2025 took place. This is a very large competition, which is the national stage of Regeneron ISEF 2025 (the prestigious International Science and Engineering Fair for students in the United States).

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held a competition for those who plan to get an engineering education, like to solve complex problems and bring creative ideas to life. More than 30 students from different parts of Ukraine came to try on the role of aircraft designers, who showed good results in physics and performed well in the creative task at the first stage of the competition.
