As part of the Sikorsky Challenge 2021, the International Defense Investment Forum took place on August 12, 2021. The Forum addressed new directions for developing the defense industry of Ukraine. There were panel discussions on defense issues.
377 graduates of the Military Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took an oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people. The training at the Department has lasted for two years.
For the entrants’ convenience, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has established 17 document acceptance points at the faculties. Students granted government funding can personally submit the original papers by 18:00 on August 2, 2021. The Admissions Committee also works on weekends.
During the meeting, the representatives of enterprises, government agencies, and research and education institutions discussed developing the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine. They also reviewed the role of the private companies in it.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the State Finance Institution for Innovations signed a memorandum of cooperation.
During the meeting, the government officials and entrepreneurs debated the reform of the water supply and sanitation sector of Ukraine, the disposal of mine water. They also discussed the problem of drinking water in coastal regions.
