Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has close partnerships with higher education institutions in France and with the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine.

Autumn tennis tournament championship of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute, organized by professors of tennis department physical education Chair, took place on October, 5-7.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has broad international ties, in particular with the South African Republic. Oddly enough, rugby is one of the promising directions for the development of relations between Kyiv Polytechnic and South African universities and enterprises.

       In order to popularize sport and healthy lifestyle, some competitions on the shaping according to the program of Sports and Athletics Meeting of KPI were held on April 18, 2018.

The first All-Ukrainian tournament of young chemists was held on March 5 at the Igor Sikorsky KPI within the framework of the plan of work of the National Ecological and Naturalistic Centre of Student Youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

On February the 16th at the Igor Sikorsky KPI Sports Complex was held the first mini-football tournament in the memory of the many-year chairman of the University trade union committee Vitaliy Ivanovich Molchanov.

In January, 2018 in the KPI was held the Christmas futsal tournament "Cup of Labor Union". This tournament is held more than ten years, and the list of participants remains almost invariable.

At the Igor Sikorsky KPI sports complex basketball competitions completed on December 14 among male student teams of universities for the Student Trade Union Association of Kyiv.

Student tournament on natural sciences had been passing from April 3 to April 7, 2017 in Minsk (Belarus). It was named STNSD (Student tournament of natural science disciplines).

On 4-5 January 2017 at the initiative of the department of sports perfection and trade union of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky took place the First Children's Christmas Futsal Tournament.
