Publishing the first T.Shevchenko’ “Kobzar” collection was published on 18th of April, was the memorable event not only in ukrainian literature history but in the Ukrainian people consciousness history too.
Student Conference "Taras Shevchenko's monuments in the world"
February 27, 2014 Department of the Ukrainian language, literature and culture held a scientific-practical conference on the theme of "Monuments of Taras Shevchenko in the world." Students of FICT and IASA took part in it.
"Kobzar" from Geneva
Among the many editions of "Kobzar" by T.H. Shevchenko there is one that draws attention. His first miniature edition of 1000 copies was printed in Geneva 1878, format 55 x 85 mm, in Ukrainian. It was printed in printing house "Community."
Shevchenko’s Bukvar
Taras Shevchenko is a prominent Ukrainian poet, novelist, playwright, painter, political and public figure. He was all-round talented man with diverse interests. Taras Shevchenko devoted his life to the Ukrainian nation. Independent Ukraine full of happy people respecting mother-tongue and theirs own history was his main dream.
