In 2020, our University faced many challenges related, first of all, to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Such circumstances required us to make significant changes in our work.

The priority of the university today, in addition to providing high-quality competitive education, is the formation of motivation to obtain it with a mandatory innovative component and the use of modern forms and technologies of education in combination with research and development.

Our university's priority today is to train highly-qualified, competitive professionals capable of creating modern scientific knowledge and innovative technologies.

Every year at the beginning of September, the results of the university enrolment of students are analyzed, since the dynamics of change is very important. Over the last three years, we have the highest volume of government procurement - 4169 people (against 3909 and 4108 in 2017-2018).

            The activities of our university aim to provide high quality, competitive  as an active two-way process based on defining innovative component and contemporary forms and technology education.

Our university traditionally is a leader of national and international ratings among technical universities. In order to attract the necessary number of freshmen, quality and methods of training must meet  modern requirements. Reproductive system is inferior to interactive one.

Research and teaching staff of the Kiev Polytechnic University, as well as the entire educational community, is working in conditions of higher education reform: a new law "On Higher Education" was adopted, the law "On Education" is prepared for amendments.

KPI provides training, guided by the needs of the labor market, the requirements of European quality assurance system, the relevant national system of licensing and accreditation, holds a leading position among the universities according to national and international rankings. That's why he has the status of a research university is traditionally one of the best local educational and research institutions.
