Volleyball, table tennis, football, boxing, water polo, archery, powerlifting, hiking and even rugby! These and many other sports have been actively cultivated at Kyiv Polytechnic for many years.
This open chess tournament, which took place at the end of November, was attended by 125 participants from 12 universities - and this is the largest number compared to similar chess competitions at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Recently, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted a sports competition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the university. The Spartakiad was held in five disciplines: bowling, streetball, chess, volleyball and mini-football.

Mykyta Kryvokhatko, a first-year student of the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies for the Production of PBF Devices, won the championship in the K1-Light category and took 2nd place in the Full contact category.
As part of the program to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the university trade union organized two sports tournaments: a traditional football tournament in memory of Vitaliy Molchanov and a volleyball tournament among veteran teams of 70+ and 75+ age g
In the second competition of the Student Spartakiad, 14 teams competed for the winning strike.
Bowling has already become a traditional sport of the Spartakiad - polytechnics have been playing it since 2013.

On May 22-27, 2023, the KPIskala Bravely Week bouldering festival was held at the KPIskala climbing wall in the KPI Polytechnic Sports Complex.
Six teams took part in the competition:
