🎙 We are sharing an article from Ukrainian Week and a podcast by Ptashka Drones about a “project with a soul” — the Sikorsky Challenge Science Park for Additive Technologies at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where technology works for people and for the sake of people.
🦾 Here, individual orthoses are developed for defenders, engineering solutions are created for people recovering from injuries, and veterans are supported in returning to civilian life and acquiring new professions.
⚙️ Behind every 3D scan, digital model, and manufactured product is a real person with their own story, needs, and plans. Technology becomes a tool for recovery and for building a new future.
📃 Read more about how the project works, the veteran-focused master's program at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and the team behind these solutions in the Ukrainian Week article.
📹 The practical side of this work is explored in greater detail by Nataliia Seminska, Director of the Educational and Innovation Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation, in the Ptashka Drones podcast.
