Ensemble "Polytechnic"

The female part of the ensemble visited Italy on the Adriatic coast at the FESTIVAL GIOVANILE DEL FOLCLORE UCRAINO.

The team presented the culture of different regions of Ukraine and a high level of choreographic art.

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute dance company has won the Grand Prize at the All-Ukrainian Festival-Competition “Kyiv Cup”. The “Polytechnic” dancers performed with folk and stylized choreographic dance works.

On November 27, 2018, at the Center for Culture and Arts of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a musical "With love to Ukraine, with love to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was held, devoted to the 120th anniversary of the University.

The amateur-talent groups of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute not only please the local viewers with their performances but also take part in competitions and festivals in Ukraine and abroad and traditionally come back with awards.

At the end of June – early July, the People's Ensemble of Folk Dance of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute toured Poland with triumph. Dancers took part in three international festivals.

In the distant 1946, the Kiev Polytechnic Institute established a dance club. His first artistic director was the choreographer Zakharov, the first concertmaster - Litvinov.

The folk dancing ensemble "Polytechnic" launched rough concert activity this year. The dancing program "With Ukraine in the heart" amateur artists conquered Europe, in the summer.

In this way, many fans and colleagues talk about the recent performance of the National Ensemble of Folk Dance of KPI “Polytechnic” on a city review-competition of folk art, where our dancers took first place.
