The amateur-talent groups of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute not only please the local viewers with their performances but also take part in competitions and festivals in Ukraine and abroad and traditionally come back with awards.
The International Culture and Arts Festival- Competition "The Star Parade2017", which took place in Lviv and gathered young talents from all the comers of Ukraine as well as from abroad. It is conducted for the revival, conservation, and development of national cultures, acquaintance with the best soloists and music bands, establishment of creative contacts among the participants, exchange of experience, creation of conditions for the support and development of children's and young people's creativity. The following nominations were presented at the festival: vocal art (soloists, duets and bands), choreographic art (soloists, duets, small and large groups) and original art (soloists, duets and groups).
The competition program was evaluated by an international jury (national and honored artists, cultural figures and representatives of show business) on a 10-point scale: the prize places were allocated according to the general rating results.
Two of our creative groups - the Polytechnic Folk Dance Group and the Bandurists' Folk Choir - took part in this festival and took the first and second places respectively.
For the first prize places, the contestants were awarded nominal cups, diplomas, and certificates for participation in international festivals-competitions as well as holiday certificates for a summer holidays trip to Kiten (Bulgaria).
For the second places, the participants received diplomas and festival Cups as well as certificates for a summer holidays trip to Bulgaria.
All the team supervisors have been awarded diplomas for a significant contribution to the development of children's and young people’s creativity of talented juniors of Ukraine.
