Through the pages of the history of Kyiv Polytechnic

The collection of rare and valuable editions of the Scientific and Technical Library contains a lithographed edition of 1907 "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Student Library-Reading Room. Catalog of Books" printed by the Kyiv printing house "Progress".

The Military Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has conducted an additional enrollment of students for military service. About 60 people from different courses and specialties applied for admission.

This event was established by the UN General Assembly resolution of 30 November 1982 and is celebrated annually on 21 September. In Ukraine, this day has been an official date since 2002, according to the Presidential Decree of 5 February 2002.

The Kyiv Polytechnic unveiled memorial plaques to three graduates of the Faculty of Sociology and Law who stood up to defend Ukraine in 2014 and gave their lives for its freedom and independence.
