A memorial plaque honoring Mariia Bihun (Leut) was unveiled in Building No. 18 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, at her home faculty — the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering (FIOT). Mariia was a student of the university, a servicemember of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a junior sergeant, and a UAV operator. The ceremony was held on what would have been her birthday.

The hackathon took place in early April at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It was organized by the Heat Energy Cluster of Ukraine in cooperation with the Department of Thermal and Alternative Energy of the Educational and Research Institute of Nuclear and Thermal Energy.
