On July 5th the solemn ceremony of closing and awarding winners of the VIII International Open Students’ Olympiad on programming named after S. О. Lebedev and V. M. Glushkov “KPI-Open 2013’ took place in the Academic Council Hall at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

In 1960, 110 young electrical engineers, specialists in the field of "Electric stations, networks and systems" departed to different parts of the former USSR.

On 24-26 May, 2013 at the recreation center, "Archer", near Kielce, an annual seminar "Economic Cooperation in Poland and Ukraine" was held, organized by the Section of KPI students in Poland.

In January this year, based on and supported by KPI the Centre of resource efficiency and cleaner production was launched.

Last year's visit of our university's deligation to the Algerian National Democratic Republic, during which the agreement on cooperation was signed, was the beginning of business contacts between our University and the University of Saad Dahlab, Blida.

The International scientific conference "Internetional University Cooperation as Integral Part of Innovative Development of Higher Education” was held at Chernivtsi National University, on May 16-18, 2013.

This semester five clever and talented beauties from Publishing and Printing Institute receive rector`s scholarship. They are Olena Hushcha, Victoria Dovgan`, Olesya Onoko, Elizabeth Sukhina and Anastasia Shepeleva.

3 July NTUU “KPI” was visited by the vice-chairman of Kyiv City Government Administration (KCGA) Ruslan Kramarenko along with the group of senior workers of KCGA and representatives of educational organization of the capital city.

Summer of 1923, an event, that caused the great interest of city residents, especially the young, occurred in Kyiv. It was demonstrative aviation exhibition, which was organized by the provincial department of the Society of Aviation and Aeronautics Ukraine and Crimea.
