This question has in recent years been seen not only from the traditional point of view. No, it is about much more important things – whether the New Year will be happy. So in order to continue a little bit lucky, it should be met in the right clothes: the color of your dress or shirt, tie or at least handkerchief corresponds to the taste of the owner of coming year. Although the majority of our fellow compatriots treat this relatively new tradition in jest, it is still executed.
Moreover, many now believe that the year of birth, or, more precisely, the animal to which the year was devoted, defines not only its character, but also destiny. If the approaching year is the year for the same animal, it is her happiness. Unless she initially shows respect to this animal.
Today there are already fans who can only determine all our flaws by the birth date. I remember an episode from one of the pre-election campaign, which is so rich in our present.
A young man, a trustee of one of the parliamentary candidates, loudly praised his virtues. A woman, asking about the year of birth of the applicant, said, "And apparently he is cunning monkey..."

The last question can be easy answered: probably already everyone knows that the calendar in which each year is a symbol of some animal came to us from South East Asia. It is also called "cyclical calendar." It is believed that this system originated in ancient China.
Calculations in it are not held by centuries, but by the cycle of 60 years – here is the name. Each cycle consists of five 12-year-olds and, simultaneously, six 10-year periods.
These 12-year periods determine the order of appearance of the animals. These cute creatures are still to be painted as the paintings of mod artists. And the color is determined by the ten years of the cycle.
Every two years, the 10-year period is devoted to one of the primary elements of it, according to Eastern philosophy, the universe consists of: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. Shell we calculate, for example, which year will 2014 correspond to:
2014 +2397 = 4411,
4411: 60 = 73(31/60)
