Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute Becomes the First Ukrainian University to Join the NBU BankID System on a Non-Commercial Basis

Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute has become the first higher education institution in Ukraine to officially join the National Bank of Ukraine BankID System as a non-commercial service provider. This achievement was preceded by more than a year of work, numerous consultations, and negotiations between Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the National Bank of Ukraine.

19 scientific journals of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute included in the List of Professional Scientific Publications of Ukraine, Category “B”

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the inclusion of a number of scientific periodicals in the List of Professional Scientific Publications of Ukraine with the assignment of Category “B” status for a three-year period, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. Among the publications that received confirmation of their professional status are 19 scientific journals of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute.

The Department of Biosafety and Human Health of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is actively expanding international cooperation in the fields of rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and advanced biomedical engineering technologies. Such partnerships have become particularly important in the context of developing Ukraine's rehabilitation system and introducing modern international practices, especially in the field of occupational therapy.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's Named Scholarships for Young Doctors of Science provide financial support to early-career researchers and create opportunities and incentives for conducting scientific research in Ukraine within the country's priority areas of science and technology development. In 2025, among the 47 young researchers awarded these prestigious monthly scholarships by the state were two young scientists from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
