This career guidance event for schoolchildren during the school winter break was organized and conducted by the faculties, educational and research institutes and the Career Development Center of the Research and Development Department.

For many years, the sections “Materials and Additive Technologies” and “Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering”, which are part of the Department of Engineering and Materials Science of the Kyiv Academy of Sciences, have been actively working at the E.O. Paton Educational and Research Institute of Materials Science and Welding of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

From October 28 to November 2, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the KPISchool Engineering Week as part of career guidance activities for schoolchildren. It was jointly organized and conducted by the faculties, educational and research institutes and the Career Guidance Department - the Career Development Center of the DNVR.
🎥 Build Your Dream: the first engineering competition from Kyiv Polytechnic for schoolchildren
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held a competition for those who plan to get an engineering education, like to solve complex problems and bring creative ideas to life. More than 30 students from different parts of Ukraine came to try on the role of aircraft designers, who showed good results in physics and performed well in the creative task at the first stage of the competition.

The Educational and Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Institute of MMI) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has successfully completed participation in the project ‘Renovation of Education in the field of aircraft construction’ (uCAREER) and showed high results in creating innovative, employer-oriented, certified educational programmes for the training of creative and competent graduate engineers to meet the requirements of the labour market.
